Verifyde is a secure online platform for buying and selling of new and used items. It was developed to minimize or eliminate online scams in e-commerce. The App was designed to protect both the Sellers and Buyers who transact through the platform. The App might need access to your location while in use for best products' recommendations and to ensure the security of all Users.

Use of Information Collected From Users

We (Verifyde) don’t sell your profile information to any third party service provider(s). All pieces of information collected about Users during Registration and profile update are meant solely for verification purposes and for those who will be transacting with you to know your real identity so as not to be victims of false personalities unknowingly.

We don’t collect and don’t store your Bank Verification Number (BVN),Bank Account Number and the location the Account was opened. However, you are expected to provide the name of the Bank and the Account Name you used to pay for subscription payment for verification purpose. If you get any request for BVN or Bank Account Number or Credit/Debit Card Number as purportedly coming from Verifyde for Account verification, please; don’t give them out, because that person is a scammer. The App only requires one valid government issued ID card like NIN/SIN and your picture to verify and activate your account. Your selfie and consent verification video must contain only your picture and must not include the picture of another human being therein.

Subscription

Users who want to advertise their items on the platform can list them for free, but there is a limit before payment can start. All payments are non-refundable. Periodically within the year, you will be expected to complete Identity Verification test through the App and that’s part of Verifyde security mechanism to ensure safe transactions with whoever you choose to do business with on the platform. Failure to complete this periodic test will automatically restrict your access to use the App.

Inappropriate Content Posting

By using our platform, you agree that you will not post nudity content, contents that have the potential to hack our platform or use it to abuse or castigate people. Our platform must not be used to promote violence or discrimination of any sort. It is a criminal offence to submit any content that does not belong to you on our platform and you are legally responsible for all contents submitted by you. You also agree that you are of legal age before making use of our Services.


Feedback

There will be regular updates on The Application to enhance user experience and every update is free for all subscribers. Verifyde Terms and Policies can change anytime, so it is the legal responsibility of every subscriber to check our website for every detail. By clicking “I Agree” anytime you or any of your users if implemented wants to log in, explicit agreement abides.

We expect to receive feedback(s) from subscribers through the app, phone, email or by invitation and every feedback will be used to improve the Application’s performance and to enhance Customers' Experience.
